With this set of instructions you will be able to update the Maltese maps and safety cameras detection software on your Garmin GPS unit.

Updating The Malta Maps

1. At this stage you must have received anEmail with a file attached named GMAPSUPP.IMG
2. Insert the SD Card in the SD Card Reader.
3. Open the email with the attachment named GMAPSUPP.IMG
4. Double click on the attachment.
5. In the popup window ‘Open Mail Attachment’ click on save.
6. In the popup window ‘Save as’ click on my computer and select The SD Card Reader or Removable Disk
7. Open the folder Named Garmin and click save .
8. The computer will ask you if you want to ‘Replace the existing file?’ Click on YES
9. Your Malta Map has been updated.

Update The Safety Cameras

1. At this stage you must have received an email with a file attached named POI.GPI
2. Insert the SD Card in the SD Card Reader.
3. Open the email with the attachment named POI.GPI
4. Double click on the attachment.
5. In the popup window ‘Open Mail Attachment’ click on save.
6. In the popup window ‘Save as’ click on my computer and select The SD Card Reader.
7. Open the folder Named Garmin.
8. Inside the Garmin Folder open folder POI and click Save.
9. The computer will ask you if you want to ‘Replace the existing file?’ Click on YES
10. Your Safety Cameras has been updated.
