The perfect charger for all types of batteries
The charging voltage can be precisely tuned and suited for both sealed and unsealed batteries. Especially, if we care about the long-life of fully sealed batteries, we must remember that they will be charged properly. Overcharging the battery results in
excessive gassing and unsealing, which will result in the battery being dry and unreliable.
Suitable for AC and DC resources (AC-DC and DC-DC operations)
In addition to models with three-phase inputs, chargers also accept power from DC resources.
Each TG charger has a microprocessor that adequately controls the charging in three steps. The charging process follows the IuoUo characteristics more rapidly than other processes.
Using TG chargers as a power source.
Thanks to the effect of perfectly stabilized output voltage, TG chargers can be used as a power source when batteries or other large buffer containers are not available.
Two outputs for charging two battery banks (only for 24 V models).
TG chargers are characterized by two isolated outputs. The second output, limited to about 4 A and with a lower output voltage, is intended for connection to the starter battery.
To extend the battery life - temperature compensation
Each Skylla TG charger is equipped with a battery temperature sensor. When it is connected, the charging voltage will be automatically reduced as the temperature of the battery increases. This feature is especially recommended when using a fully sealed battery that might otherwise overcharge and dry out due to unsealing.
Battery voltage sensor
To compensate for voltage drop through cable resistance, TG chargers are equipped with voltage sensors, so that the battery always gets the right charging voltage.
